  1. I contacted a furniture company in 2020 about a sectional with a hide-a-bed that had a missing bolt but they told me I was beyond the warranty to get help. I called back today 4-20-2022 today and told the same company(American Signature Inc 4300 E. fifth st Columbus ohio 43219 about the same hide a bed area which bolt came out causing bed to fall down but I discovered 2 more smaller bolts that weren’t even put in couch at all. The company Like many insist on standing by manufacturers warranty dates but what happens to issue of sectional with hide a beds that weren’t put together ( missing bolts)? If something is faulty to begin with this surely has an influence on other things like the domino effect. I want help in how one pursues remedies beyond manufacturers. Do I have statute of limitations on furniture? Thanks.

  2. I spoke with value city supervisor Sahara Coooper today and told her our sectional with a pull out bed are missing 9 screws missing from screw hole area engineered wood. My question is we bought sectional with bed in late 2018 but was said to have called complaining about collapse of right side of furniture in 2020, but also called late April 2022 about 9 bolts or screws missing. We only had a 1 year warranty ( till sept- august 2019) but recently discovered also that furniture has engineered wood and screws missing which we know was not manufactured right in the first place. WHST does a consumer do if product was not made right? Thanks for help.
