With one hand push down on the handlebar located at the top centre of the rear seat while simultaneously pulling up on the handlebar attached to the seatback, reclining it.

Be sure not to over tighten since this could cause discomfort or restrict breathing as well as impede their ability to safely get in and out of their stroller when it is in the reclined position. To lock: press down on both handles at the same time and hold until it clicks into place.
