How do you stuff bumGenius pocket diapers?
-With the insert facing up, fold the top of the diaper down toward the baby’s stomach.
-Fold the left and right sides of the diaper in toward the centre.
-Stuff the pocket with as much absorbent material as needed. You can use either one or two inserts for most babies.
-Bring up the front of the diaper and fasten it snugly to a baby with snaps.
Make sure that all fabric is tucked inside so your little one is comfortable. If you are using a doubler (or second insert), place it towards the baby’s back. Some moms also like to tuck the extra flap of fabric from folding under into the waistband for a more secure fit.

How do you prepare bumGenius Freetime diapers?
There are a few things you need to do to get your bumGenius Freetime diapers ready for use. First, you’ll need to wash and dry them according to the instructions on the label. Once they’re clean and dry, it’s time to fold them into their proper shape.
To do this, hold the diaper in one hand with the wings facing out. Then take the right-wing and fold it over the left-wing so that they overlap each other by about an inch.
Next, tuck the folded-over wings underneath the back of the diaper, grab both front corners of the diaper and bring them together so that they meet in the middle. Now you have a properly-folded bumGenius Freetime diaper!
To put it on your child, lay them down on their back and place the diaper underneath them. Then grab the front corners of the diaper and pull them up so that the waistband is around their waist.
Finally, secure the tabs around their hips. If you need to change your child’s diaper, just undo the tabs and remove the dirty one before putting a new one in its place.
One thing to keep in mind when using bumGenius Freetime diapers is that they should only be used for daytime use. They’re not meant for overnight wear because they don’t have as much absorbency as traditional cloth diapers. So if you need a diapering solution overnight, you’ll probably want to stick with something else.
But for daytime use, bumGenius Freetime diapers are a great option! They’re comfortable and easy to use, and they come in a variety of fun prints and colours.
