How to Put the Cover Back on a Bassinet

Steps on How to put the cover back on a bassinet

Step 1. Ensure the cover is placed correctly on top of the mattress. Remove any additional stuffing inside that may be in the way and causing a hole to form when putting the sheet back on.

Step 2. Place your hand into one end of the crib/bassinet and pull up, this will help raise and straighten out wrinkles in the fabric along the bottom edge.

Step 3. When you get near where the stuffed animal was located unzip the zipper so it can lay flat without bunching or creasing the fabric. This should also allow for less wrinkling at the bottom corner once fully installed again onto the bassinet frame if using the same method as before taking off the original cover (it only has two corners). If there are other areas needing smoothing out examine the fabric to see if it is thin enough for you to take out and straighten by hand (it will need time to lay flat again).

Step 4. Once all wrinkles are smoothed, or as much as possible without removing cover entirely, place back on bassinet frame starting with one corner. If using the same method of installation as before make sure the zipper teeth line up correctly when putting them together so they work smoothly once finished.

Step 5. Zip bottom flap closed (if there isn’t a double row of zippers along the whole edge) then attach clips in desired locations around the crib/bassinet. Make sure that both sides are even since this may cause twisting over your child’s face while sleeping which could suffocate them depending on how tightly their head is covered.

If using the same method of installation as before make sure the zipper teeth line up correctly when putting them together so they work smoothly once finished.

Steps on How to Remove Bassinet Cover From Eddie Bauer Bassinet

Step 1. Loosen the straps and remove the cover from the bassinet. Fold-down the sides of the mattress pad to clean (if removable). NOTE: not all bedding is removable, so check your instruction manual for specific care instructions. If it can be removed, gently lift the child side and pull the mattress out with you as one piece. Take off sheets on the top layer of padding before cleaning; then put back after done.

Machine wash in cold water and line dry or tumble dry low heat if safe for fabric used. Do NOT bleach! It will ruin the waterproof lining inside the pad!

How do you clean a baby’s bassinet in the summer?

It’s recommended that you clean the bassinet on a regular basis. First, remove all of your baby’s clothing and any bedding from inside the play yard. Then, use mild soap and warm water to wash down surfaces on top of the existing bedding inside the play yard first.

This will keep the baby from coming into direct contact with any materials that could irritate his or her skin. It also prevents accidents such as spit-up getting onto parts of the bassinet where they can be difficult if not impossible to remove later on without damaging fabric or woodwork.

Next, wipe down hard surfaces using an antibacterial cleaner diluted in lukewarm water before drying them completely with a soft cloth so there are no streaks leftover behind after the surfaces dry.

Steps on How to clean used bassinet

Detach all pieces for washing. Wash the cover in cold water with mild detergent. Hang to dry or tumble on low heat setting for 20 minutes before putting back together.

When cleaning, make sure you are using products that are safe around babies! Use a damp cloth and mild soap instead of heavy chemicals. This will ensure your baby’s safety the most! If possible, have another adult watch over them while you clean so that there is no risk of choking or being exposed to harsh chemicals.

It may seem scary but it would be worse if something were to happen because they weren’t properly protected!! Always remember this especially when infants under six months old can not reach their heads up very high yet and can choke or gag on anything that is not food.
