Step 1. First, you’ll want to make sure that your stroller is unlocked. Then, pull the telescoping handle up until it locks into place and becomes taut. You can now release the catch on both sides of this bar by pushing it down with two fingers at once.
Step 2. Once those latches are released, push against them somewhat hard so they click back in again before lifting the lid towards you. There will be one side where there’s more resistance than others due to manufacturing tolerances – just keep trying!
Step 3. Once fully opened (without kicking it), press each side firmly down with your thumbs while pulling forward slightly on either end of the seat base with opposite hands/fingers. As you lift on the base, pull it away from your body so that both sides rotate outwards and lock into place.
