What you’ll need:
-An iron on transfer sheet (I got mine at Joann’s)

-Scissors
-Pins
-A piece of cloth measuring at least 11×11 inches (this will be your cover)
-An iron
Instructions:

Step Three: Pin the design to your piece of cloth, making sure that it’s centred.
Step Four: Iron the design onto the fabric, following the instructions on the transfer sheet.
*Note: make sure that you’re ironing on the wrong side of the fabric! The side that you want to be seen should not have any contact with the iron.
-If your fabric is thin, you may need to do a second pass with the iron for it to stick properly.
-If there are any areas where the ink didn’t transfer (usually around curves and letters), just go over them with a black Sharpie.
Step Five: Cut out the fabric around the design, making sure to leave an extra inch or two on all sides.
Step Six: Fold over the edges of the fabric so that they meet in the middle and sew them together (I use a zigzag stitch).
-If you’re using bias tape instead of sewing, just follow the instructions on how to apply it.
Step Seven: Turn your book cover inside out so that the seams are hidden and iron it flat.
Step Eight: Slip your favorite picture book into your new cover!
Now your child can have their very own personalized book!
