Step 1: Measure.
Use a tape measure to identify the height of the tension rods. Install them according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure that the tension rod is leveled so that you don’t have curtains falling over to one side. Now, hang the hooks.
Step 2: Hang the curtains.
Take your curtain liner and hang it on the inner side of your shower. Remember that its main purpose is to protect your curtain from water exposure. Create an opening in the middle by hanging half of the curtain on the right side and the other on the left.

Double rod method
If you have the luxury of buying a tension rod, or perhaps you happen to have one lying around, then let’s put that to good use. Please use a tension rod that is not entirely the same. Try to go for one that is significantly thicker or thinner than the one you have.
If you have two same-sized tension rods, you don’t really have to get yourself another smaller one. As long as they are the same length, it will work just fine when learning how to hang double shower curtains.
Step 1: Install rod
