Step 1. To start bend over and look at where the right armrest is connected with a screw going from side to side on either side (you will know what I’m talking about if you’re looking in person). Now take an all en wrench and unscrew both screws connecting the armrest from either side.
Step 2. Now that you’ve loosened those two screws, look at how far away they are from each other and then take your Allen wrench again to loosen them until they’re even with one another. Don’t tighten them yet! You want them tight but not too tight or else it will be a pain when we go to adjust them later on.
Step 3. Now do this for the left screw as well (again making sure everything is equal). When you’re done tightening up these last few screws make sure to put in some wood glue so the chair isn’t wobbly anymore- voila! A fixed swivel chair awaits you.
